Yeah so I’m behind on my updating of strips. No real reason for, just me being lazy. Going to try and break that and get back to three times a week, then back to 5 times once I get caught up and ahead.

I’m going to give you all a few little reviews for some movies I’ve seen recently.

The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy~I rather liked this movie. In fact I’ve seen it twice, and will go see it again this week with my father. I liked the casting, thought it was spot on. Even though Ford became a black man, I feel Mos Def did a fine job portraying him. Just how the radio show is different from the book which is different from the comic which is different from the text game, which is different from the record set which is different from the mini series which is different from anything other form it’s been in, the movie is also different in it’s own way. The reason they are going to Magrethea is different, and there is more of a love thing between Arthur and Trillian. Overall I would say they did good job transferring it to film, and hopefully they make the second book. The movie did set up for it.

The Hole~Starring Thora Birch and Kiera Knightly. I was very surprised I liked this movie. I like Thora Birch, she was in Ghost World with Scarlett Johansson(who I think is extremely pretty). I had the movie figured out at about the 30 minute mark, but I still enjoyed it up to the end. Defiantly worth checking out, not as predictable as it sounds, I just have a knack for figuring movies out.

Nobody’s Baby~Starring Skeet Ulrich and Gary Oldman. Again surprised I liked this. It looked like such a terrible movie. But I recommend seeing it

National Treasure~Starring Nic Cage. I was leery about this because Disney tends to make shitty and lame movies when they are not animated. And for the first 15 minutes of this one, that’s what it is, a shitty and lame movie. After that it picks up and actually becomes entertaining. Worth seeing, but see it on HBO.

I would do some comic and book reviews, but I haven’t read shit recently. I’ll get on that and write up some reviews that none of you will read.

I guess I’ll write up some CD reviews since I’m bored.

Tori Amos-The Beekeeper~ Every other review I have read for this CD said it was lacking and not as good as it should have been. I disagree. I find it extremely well put together and I the songs I find are fresh and make me smile. Basically if you are a Tori fan and you haven’t bought it yet, what the fuck is wrong with you?

Streetlight Manifesto-Everything Goes Numb~ Not much I can say about this that hasn’t already been said. It rules, it rocks, one of the best CDs of the decade. Yadda. Yadda. If you like SKA, get it. If you like rock, get it. If you like lyrics that make you think, get it. IF you can breath, get it you would probably like it.

Catch 22~Keasby Nights~ Yeah, basically read by review of Streetlights CD above. The same applies to this one. The recording quality isn’t as sharp as Streetlights, but the quality of the writing makes up for that in droves.

Ok, I think that’s all I got. Come back from a long hiatus from posting with an actually long update filled with useless reviews and shit.
